  • Login to the portal by using your Username and Password.

  • Tap on Services then Registration and then Amendment of registration non-core fields.

  • Click to Authorised Signatory

  • After opening click on Add New.
  • Enter your Contact details with your new mobile number and email ID of Authorised signatory the click on the Save button.

Click on the verification option

  • Tick mark the verification checkbox
  • Select the Authorized Signatory from Name of authorized signatory drop-down menu
  • Now enter the Place Name

  • Select the option as per your convenience for digital e-sign by using Submit with DSC(Digital Signature Certificate) or Submit with E-signature or Submit with EVC

After submitting the application for correction in the GST registration portal you can see the notification of successful submission of application will be displayed. The taxpayer also receives an acknowledgment about your contact detail correction on your old email address and mobile number.

 Once you receive the acknowledgment from the GST portal on your email address and mobile number you just need to login to the GST portal again.
  • Select the Authorized Signatory
  • Deselect the Primary authorized signatory checkbox for old signatory and then select the newly added signatory as your Primary Authorized Signatory.
  • Verify the contact details again and ensure the mentioned details are right.
  • Click the Verification tab and verify it by using DSC/EVC/e-signature.
  • After submitting the application you will receive the acknowledgment within 15 min on the new email address and mobile number.
